Hi. I'm looking to use these components to recycle some old bits from a previous build.

System Builder - Core i5-10400F 2.9 GHz 6-Core, MAG VAMPIRIC 010 ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPicker

I really would to get a Z490 board to make use of faster RAM, but the only board I can find is a Gigabyte one, but I really like the Msi Vampric case and I suppose I'll need a 3rd party software to control RGB, as the Mystic Light software that MSI supply won't work with an Gigabyte mainboard?

Or have I got this wrong? Will JackNet control everything?

JackNet RGB Sync

Or doesn't it support MSI or Gigabyte? Sorry for the assumptions, but I've read so many horror stories about RGB! Thanks.

JackNet RGB Sync is a free piece of software that lets you manage all your RGB components. | PC Gamer
