As you can see, there's only holes on the MoBo, the blue behind is the table where the pc case is laying on, sideways.

Below you can see that there is nothing behind the MoBo (once it's installed).

    Is this what I need?

Is this a picture of the cooler/heatsink you are planning to use? What is the manufacturer/model? Does it not come with any instructions?

Right. It's from the Acer Nitro 50 I had. I wanted a larger computer case.

Do I need both? The MoBo backplate and the black and white screws?

If you are intending to use the cooler as pictured, you will need a backing plate to provide someplace for the cooler's mounting hardware to thread into. If you want to use the pushlock-style attachments, you don't need the backplate: they click into the holes on the MB.

But, if it were me, I think I'd pick up a new aftermarket cooler that comes with all the parts and instructions necessary to install it. It's entirely possible to re-use stuff like this, but why risk making an error if you're unsure? Plus an aftermarket cooler is almost certainly going to perform better than whatever part Acer sourced, IMHO.

Probably the backplate and the silver screws.

I'd recommend you just get a decent cooler. Something like this..

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (RR-212E-20PK-R2) - PCPartPicker

    Noctua NH-L12S 55.44 CFM CPU Cooler (NH-L12S) - PCPartPicker

It'll come with a backplate if it needs one, and with directions.
Stock coolers don't work very well.

On the cooler you have, the metal screws, usually go with a back plate. The nylon screws, usually just lock into the holes in the motherboard.
