Asus x570-e rog strix or new Asus Tuf Gaming x570 pro with wifi 6

So, just realized that Asus has released a new version of the Tuf Gaming x570 called the Pro that adds some of the features that I was looking for that the rog strix had.

Namely, a usb c front header, wifi 6 and 2.5Gbps lan support. It also has the ability to flash the bios from a usb key without a cpu just like the rog strix.

Anybody know of any glaring differences that would make the rog strix worth $300 over the Tuf Gaming x570 pro for $219.

Edit: I know that strix supports nvidia SLI and tuf gaming does not....but I wont be running 2 nvidia cards...I'm certain of that.

    I see rog strix has 7 x usb 3.2 gen 2 type a ports whereas the tuf gaming pro has 4 x usb 3.2 type a gen1 and 2 x usb 3.2 type a gen 2. Both boards have a usb 3.2 gen 2 type c.

So the rog strix has 1 more type A port and all of them are 3.2 gen 2 (so 10Gbps versus 5Gbps)

I have the Tuff X570 wifi it's one of the better overclockers for a budget price totally stable
I would go for it and save $90

Also if you have a need for the extra port or the internet speed go with the strix but if the 10Gbps vs 5Gbps doesn't bother you then Tuff all the way

Check the power delivery for the VRM, I would go with the ROG board if going with a 5900 or 5950 CPU

Im not saying anything is wrong, just that the ROG boards are a little beefier, not to mention all the other settings in BIOS you can play with. Thats just my opinion, oh and the attached IO shield is a plus too

The Tuff board has all the features just not the fancy internet that is the only issue plus a port or two seriously not a drawback

The tuf gaming x570 pro has the 2.5Gbps ethernet. It just doesn't have a secondary 1.0Gbps port.

The integrated iO shield is a nice plus.

I have time to shop and look for best prices on these boards. Neither the CPU or the GPU are available, so no rush in getting the mobo.

Yeah, hard to buy anything these days. Either way if you get one of those MBs you will have a great system
