Ok back on subject,
those cables really bug me, though, they really don't restrict air flow or anything, as the middle fan sucks air in from underneath(as all three do), and blows it straight into the GTX 1080's vapor chamber air intake(which is perfect), but it does look a bit sloppy, as this side is with a "Picture Window". Plus I was thinking of getting some nice white extensions for my USB 3.1, GPU, and motherboard power cables too any how. White, because it's the only color that shows up nicely under blue LEDs.

Reminds me of the time visiting cousins in central Michigan; they made their living farming and one day he took us for a ride to look about the countryside. As we passed one farm there was a sign on the fence which read:

For the three fans I recently installed, they were somewhat bland looking.
Today I finally had a chance to look around in the hobby section in a 1€ shop and found some thin blue glitter tape(comes peels off clean and easy, but sticks well enough), and taped the three front showing wells of the fan frames that sit right by the LEDs running along the bottom.
I also got some self sticking, lint free, felt pads to put over the center of all my fans(looks better under the blue LEDs)

One thing that bugs me, and I need to see if I can get some extensions, are those cables sitting on top of the fans.

If the fans were 1 millimeter larger, I would only have been able to install the one on the left,
but I was lucky that all three on the bottom of the motherboard were stripped back with only the wires, about 3/4 of a centimeter, and the connectors were not too large, and could bend them some, but not enough to tuck them in between the fans and back wall.

They are(L>R) for the front audio connector, USB 2.0 connector, and front panel connectors:

I like that there is no hard drive cage and just the SSDs "on the wall." Looks clean and helps airflow. Reminds me of getting rid of an old television that was also a piece of furniture in the room and now there's just the television hanging on the wall.

It looks kind of empty when using fans, but is probably great for a reservoir when using a custom water loop.

It does open room though for other possibilities as you say more room for water cooling. Or, should Nvidia bring to market a monster card of sixteen inches in length you're all set.
