What's the Roswell incident Brink? Or are you just joking? Anyway 1 week in and not even as much as one drop of water from the custom loop, she's water tight!! You guy's should go for it if you've been thinking about it, it was a lot of fun and a great challenge.

    Hi,
Yep 2080ti ftw3 hydro copper is or was what I was leaning towards long ago seeing there is better value seeing 2080ti ftw3 with preinstalled hydro copper was only 100.us more than the three fan version
Perfectly acceptable water block doubt ek's will perform or look better
Only water temperature dictates how well one cools that and water flow.
EK nickle plating sucks so a copper version is the best thing to get hard to mess it up like nickle plating is
    Hi Thrash,

Yeah someone told me that all GPU waterblocks perform more or less all the same. It's the radiator and fan power that dictates how much cooling you will get.

My buddy experienced high 2080 Ti watercooled temps on a single 280mm radiator GPU only custom loop. It was not until they put both the CPU and GPU into a custom loop with two 280mm rads that there was enough cooling power to bring the 2080 Ti temps down, quite significantly too. His 2080 Ti now runs at temps that his Titan XP used to on a single rad custom loop. It more or less proves that the 2080 Ti Turing chip/s run quite a lot hotter than the predecessor Pascal.

    Hi,
Yep rads and fans all relate to water temp
Water sensor says a lot about why cpu and gpu temps are at
Many different types this one worded for me

    Hi Thrash,

I'm using this one: G1/4" Plug with 10k Sensor (Black Chrome) — XSPC - Performance PC Water Cooling It's screwed into a T-Block at one of the rad inlet ports. I don't know how much the sensor placement can affect what reading you will get but when I move to a CPU+GPU loop I will add in a sensor like the one you linked to so I have two different readings at separate points in the loop...
