Thanks Thrash. I got my EK Velocity CPU block today and now I'm just waiting for some EK fittings to come back into stock. I'm going with black nickel fittings and black onyx PrimoChill tubing... The 2080 Ti won't be done immediately but it sure will be the icing on the cake when it's done. Edit: Yep I will use an inline sensor screwed into a t-block at the radiator for temp monitoring...

That's pretty much the one I was looking at. I saw a Thermaltake one but it was too expensive. Water cooling company's are getting fancy now and putting temp sensor lcd's on the water block and stuff like that, Bitspower has a new one. XSPC also has a non lcd inline sensor that you plug into your motherboard temp headers so you can monitor through software as well...

Well paul, I moved on to another 240 cooler the EVGA CLC 240.... this presented a new and different set of problems...




The EVGA software to control their AIO coolers has a flaw in how it caputres the Temps; I believe that when it shows the temps in ° C it is most likely actually showing the temp reading in ° F.... I have been monitoring what EVGA Flow Control software shows along with Core Temp and if you convert the Celsius Reading in Core Temp to Fahrenheit the numbers in Flow Control are pretty much right on in Fahrenheit....



I also tried the previous version of Flow Control and it showed temps that were retared by 10 ° when compaired to Core Temp and the MB readings....

Seems I have read that allmost all of these AIO units that have integrated their own software have been having problems getting everything to read correctly...

So for now I am controling the pump and fan speed via the BIOS...

I got my hands on a Swiftech H240 X3 cooler so I am going to mount it in the next few days and seem how it does...

Weird readings alright. Unfortunately EVGA software has never been great. If I was following and knew you were looking for another AIO I would have recommended a Corsair. Do you have HWiNFO? HWiNFO can usually monitor most AIO's, it's not recommended but you could enable it once to see if it gives a temperature reading in celsius vs Fahrenheit. Also head over to the software section of EVGA forums and see if anyone there can get this sorted for you.
