Does the electrical tap help with possible feedback from the GPU when gaming? I only use the soundcard for music, when I game if I use it my buddies hear buzzing in skype.
When I had it without that EFI shield that mine comes with it was a little static but have not an issue in games just with general efi and sticking the shield back on and using the extension for my Op-amp fixed that (2x for headphone out and 1x for RCA which I only use RCA nowadays as I have other dacs for the cans). That will be per card though on the shielding design. Where is your card now that it does this with the GPU activity?isolating it away might be a good Idea for sure. Part is certainly cheap enough to test it out.

It comes with two cables and the longer one I used and it fits under the massive gpu then around its fan then over the psu and you can still pick the card up about 5 inches off the psu if you want so it is plenty long from just that one kit for sure.

EDIT: saw you have a soar and it has its own EFI shield so it should be be okay I would think. Can't tell from your pic but is the card not in the last x1 on your tuff? If it fits I would stick it in the first x1 actually.

Yep, at the bottom. Do you mean on top of the GPU?

Yeah right before it if your heatsink for the cpu will allow. It should fit if a little right, its okay if it rest against the gpu, it will have the shield act against its efi better for sure. Also your efi might be from the psu as well during load. Either way would test it up top before getting a riser.

Okay, I will give it a try, thanks, Didn't put it on top I guess to not cover the Tuf emblem, but if it helps with the interference it will be better. It will have plenty of clearance up top since Im not using an air cooler, I was guessing it was from the GPU, didn't think that it could be the PSU

    Hi Dude,

The vertical mounting of GPU normally comes as a feature of the case.
It has a PCIe riser holder pre-installed on top of the GPU.

It also has vertical slots at the back for the video ports from the GPU.

If you can find a way to secure your GPU vertically and provide easy access to the video ports, DIYing this feature will be a fun project. :)

Good luck, ran mine that way for years on water till I got a d15s and took up all the space. Also you're not using a UPS for the PC are you?
