Lol, yeah it's 2.75 slot isn't it? The card I have at the moment is nearly an inch longer than my 1080ti FTW3 and triple slot too. I didn't think they could get much bigger than the 1080ti FTW3 but I was wrong . Have fun!

That's a great looking card Paul, nice rig too. Is that the 2080 Amp Extreme? I was also interested in both the Zotac 2080 Ti Amp Extreme and MSI 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio but stuck to EVGA just because I am familiar with their customer service. They're all great cards.

Yeah this EVGA FTW3 looks like triple slot, three screw holes so must be. The 1080 Ti FTW3 is a 2 slot. So your Zotac is also a 3 slot? I'm seeing a lot of comments suggesting Turing runs hotter than Pascal. The 2080 Ti has twice the amount of parts as the 1080 Ti and a larger die for the RT and Tensor cores so probably makes sense. I'm guessing this is why they have beefed the heatsink's up on these cards.

Hi Kol, yeah it's the Amp Extreme Core. I didn't realise they did a non Core version. The core version is slightly cheaper and has a lower boost clock. I can't see any differences aside from that. Thanks. I am also looking at the 2080ti version of it and also the card you just got. I would need to get it direct from EVGA though as they are around £250 cheaper than all the etailers selling it here in the UK. EVGA are currently out of stock in Europe so we will see when I come to buy. The MSI Gaming X trio looks like a good option too and is by far the cheapest of the 3 I am looking at. I am just not too sure about it.

Yeah the Zotac only has 2 screws but the cooler comes down way further than that to make it take up 3 slots. The 1080ti FTW3 was very skinny in comparison with the 2 slots lol. I believe they do run a bit hotter so it looks like all the top cards tend to have the beefy coolers making them 3 slots.

I look forward to seeing your benchmarks tomorrow. It will give me a good idea of what I can expect seeing as we have the same CPU.

The ZOTAC 2080Ti Amp Extreme has the highest OOB boost clock from all 2080Ti's Paul
    It's a real beast

@Kol12 CongratZ on your new card.
That one has a slightly higher Power Limit than mine I believe, so you have a little more OC room if you keep it cool enough(power & voltage = heat)Show off your PC!-demon3d9.gif

    Thanks Cliff and Dude!
@Cliff Yeah I believe EVGA released a BIOS that increases the power limit to 130% for this card which is a bit higher than what the 1080 Ti FTW3 got. It has a very beefy cooler so will be interesting to see where I can take the card performance wise.

Nope, you got same card as mine, so your limit is 124% Max. You could type in any # you want but the limit on your card is 124% Max. Already asked one of the techs for Nvidia about it. That 130% is for lower end cards. Not ours.

Kol, are you sure you don't have an ITX Motherboard? That is a really big card.
