ya theres a cable cover, but the back glass door is magnetic, so if u have any cables poking out at all, the door wont fully shut.

Ohhh I see. Yeah when I put back panel back on my case I have to lay the case down and apply some pressure to the panel to push the cables back in as I get the pins lined up to lock. There's no way it would go on free standing. I can see that magnetic closing door being very tricky!
