Those actually look pretty freeking cool. Can you animate the images, or maybe show scrolling text.

There's animation but I haven't figured out yet how to create one or if I can make one myself. There are downloadable animated pixel art.

When you have time, could you post a link to their product page. I'd like to have a look see.

    Here's the link:

I got it for $15 each on Bestbuy Canada (I ordered 4). It was originally priced at $70 (US?) as shown on the linked site.
I checked again on Bestbuy.ca but it seems that they took down the page for this item. Probably an error in pricing (?)'

Thanks, nice bit of kit. I wonder what the microcontroller inside is? I have got to get a diffuser for my Sense Hat LED matrix. It has similar RGB LED's, no diffuser though. You scored a big one at 15 bucks each.

My guess would be an arduino controller.

I was thinking the same thing. If so, that means hackable, as in you could make it do things it was never intended to do.

I did something fun again today.
I re-purposed my old android phone as a secondary monitor (actually 3rd) on my PC. Using it as a dedicated temperature monitor.
It was really easy. It only cost me $10 CAD for the app called "TwomonUSB". It is also compatible with iPads. Minimum requirements is Android 4.0 or later or iOS 5.0 or later.
So if some of you Insider Geeks would like to test the Windows 10 tablet mode using your desktop PC, you can connect a 10" android tablet or bigger or your old iPad lying around.

The cheapest USB monitor in the market is around $100. And it's not even touchscreen (I think). This $10 CAD (around $8 US) app will give you a touchscreen option for Windows 10 using the device you may already have (and not using anymore).

I may do that, I have an android phone sitting on my desk just doing nothing. Nice.
