Windows 10: Show off your PC!
SSD prices are dipping down these days. I recently just got 2 of Samsung Evo 120GBs (@ only $79 each) one of which went to my Win 10 preview installation.
You won't regret investing on SSDs.
I placed my SSDs into some kind of "magazine/holder" and I just pull them in and out of the PC from outside.

I'm thinking about getting a Kingston. Are they good?
I have one Kingston HyperX 120GB. That was my first one and there was certainly a big boost on the system. But Kingston recently had issues with speed. The actual speed hardly reach half of the specified speed. I am talking about the SSDnow series. Not sure about HyperX. They continually update the firmware so the HyperX today may not perform the same as before. Could be better, could be worse.
I only buy them in-store so I can always return it easily if I am not happy with it.

still work in progress but I am getting there.
if I had used a proper camera maybe everything would not have looked so horrible, look at the walls and floor and the pic on the wall, I need to take it again me thinks.

I thought you have one of those custom table-like PC case. It's just table with lights? Right? Looks great!
I always wanted to get one of those fancy lights from Ikea. I just don't know where to put them

Wow! Everyone seems to have at least two monitors on this forum! Am I the only one with just one monitor?
Thanks for the info, bad robot. I'll look into all the options, as I should. And the make my decision.
Not sure if animation works here. I am giving it a shot..
Edit: Yup.. it works! :P

Alright, here's my setup. Sorry for the mess, I never have a clear desk. Attachment 5581
I have the same exact setup 8 years ago. I think I see a room for 1 more monitor there.
Well, you've got to start somewhere!
I thought since a lot of us on this forum are general PC (Windows) enthusiasts, that it would be fun to compare temperatures.
The specific temperature I am interested in is the CPU temp.
Please provide a screenshot showing your temps.
Was reading some info on SSDs over on TechSpot, and thought I would shear. Hope you find this info hopeful when deciding on an SSD for the first time or even if just upgrading from an old one.
At the top of the food chain are Samsung's SM951 and...
