Thou shalt not judge by wires alone:

Got a new front panel connectors today, waiting for new PSU to install and fix those stupid wires once for all. My pet spider is getting jealous.

I like spiders and snakes, they catch flies, mosquitoes and varmint. Besides, my younger brother's nick is "Spider" but catches only cold. Real spiders are more useful than him.

Please don't talk about wiring. Mine is a big failure. Spiderman is all over the place.

As many on 7F (and maybe 8F and PCHF) will have seen, here's mine. Always good to have a new reason to post photos of my baby though.

I'm so jealous of you guys, I'm such a bum, I can't even afford a HDD upgrade, my specs are below but not got any pics yet, was going to do a teardown and rebuild (mainly to tidy wires away) but just can't find the motivation, but my computer case is very counter intuitive for tidiness, god damn Antec 900.

Nothing to be jealous about, you have quite a lot of storage there. I have less combined storage space installed permanently and with some housekeeping manage somehow to keep drives at a bit less of 90% full. What I did is to collect a bunch of smaller (40 - 250 GB) second hand (and therefore cheap) drives, connected when needed by USB adapter and keep backups of most important stuff on some and couple of them are for downloaded programs kept there just in case they are needed. When I notice a newer version of such a program I replace old version instead of keeping both.
Having too many drives, connected all the time can slow system down to a degree that in case of some of them being slower can be pretty noticeable.
The best addition to drives I ever made is to ad an SSD for system and main programs.

That is exactly what I need, SSD seems to be essential nowadays for normal everyday tasks as OS'es seem to be getting faster and faster.
