Well got some time to at least wire up the lights somewhat and tear out some ancient IR and RF stuff so i'm using one of these now Amazon.com: DEEPCOOL RGB Convertor, 5V ADD-RGB to 12V RGB Transfer Hub, Motherboard with 12V 4-pin Header can Contorl 5V ADD-RGB Products: MP3 Players & Accessories . The N9 really doesn't like the brightness of the lights and it's not in a very photogenic spot at the moment anyways. it's a start though.

I took some out but my esata JBOD was a mess and it's just simpler in the one unit. I got the Taichi specifically for the 10x sata ports. I still have these to eventually go into a smaller 4U once I have the time. Also with all the quakes recently If i'm gonna have to grab and run do to fire ect. I want to to only have to pick up one heavy box instead of two to throw in the car. But I have started merging some and ditching all smaller drives for donation or destruction.
