It was nerve racking Cliff. I woke up this morning wondering if there would be water everywhere. When I filled and found no leaks last night it looked successful. The hose fit onto the EK barbs very tightly, there are some very strong connections there. I was fighting with this stuff inside the case. The only ones I am wary of are the rotary fittings which I used three, two rotary 45 deg fittings on the radiator and a rotary extender at the pump. Basically they have a join where they can swivel 360 deg. But at least now they seem quite durable.
My coolant is 3-4C cooler than my Corsair H110i AIO and CPU temps are almost 4-5C coolers as well.
Thanks Thrash. Only thing is that a GPU water block probably isn't going to fit in this case, it's too skinny. So I'm thinking about the Lian Li 011 Dynamic case for when I get the GPU water block. I don't have many options for a water block for the EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3 either. There's EVGA's Hydro Copper which is quite nice and EKWB are supposed to be making a block for this card.
Hi,
Yep 2080ti ftw3 hydro copper is or was what I was leaning towards long ago seeing there is better value seeing 2080ti ftw3 with preinstalled hydro copper was only 100.us more than the three fan version
Perfectly acceptable water block doubt ek's will perform or look better
Only water temperature dictates how well one cools that and water flow.
EK nickle plating sucks so a copper version is the best thing to get hard to mess it up like nickle plating is
Been busy and away, that's a nice loop Kol12. I saw that they made TG panels for my case so I will have to rewire soon for some cable semblance to make this look good, i'm excited. Will lose the foam but PC is pretty quiet anyways. Fractal Design
