Only EVGA PX1 can control the three fans on the EVGA cards, it's the iXC system it's proprietary and locked down. Unwinder from MSI Afterburner talks a lot about it, should show up in a google search.
Keep us posted on the EVGA PX1 software, definitely try an older version. You did tell me your cooling technique. It must be pretty cold over there. Even if I turn the air con on I still can't keep my GPU below 60C . Ah well gonna have to wait until I water cool.![]()
Wow that's a very nice memory overclock, I guess not all memory chips are equal even if their the same brand.![]()
Thanks Brian. Lol yeah he usually gets up and walks in front of the monitor just when I start typing something!
Thanks Noober bud
Yes will keep you posted Kol, I have been real busy at work all week so not had a chance to have a play with it but the weekend is nearly here! Really hope an older version sorts it out.
It has been really cold here, it never gets really hot aside from a few weeks if we are lucky in the summer lol. I did however order an air conditioning unit from Amazon today to keep the room cool when it does warm up a bit. If I use it in the cold weather I might get even better results haha!
I was very surprised how high the memory overclock would go! When I first got the card I started at +600 and slowly worked my way up. I got to +1200 and thought great I will be happy with that. Then +1300, then +1400 and I was thinking wow. Then +1500 then +1600 and even then it refuses to crash and benches great! I think in the end I got the first crash at +1677 or somewhere around that! I got lucky with the memory that's for sure!
