Any Direct-X 12 testing/benchmarking apps?
Hello.
I am wondering if there are any Direct-x 12 testing suites or benchmarking apps. out there. Too bad dxdiag doesn't even have a demo of dx12 capabilities.

Hmm. Why was muy post moved here? Overclocking?
Probably Futuremark will make a DirectX 12 version of their 3D Mark, as soon as DirectX 12 capable cards are available, it's not a point now. I tried to cheat by copying all the DirectX files from Windows XP in a folder and run dxdiag from there. I was surprised to see the test buttons in the display tab and after my first joy I was disappointed to find out they won't work as they probably refer to files not present in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32. Of course I didn't dare to just copy the files in my Windows installation and risk screwing DirectX! This could make the tests work, but no thank you! I don't take the risk, at least for my main installation. On a virtual maybe I will.
I have not seen any specific DX12 ones other than this one

Then use that. If your card doesn't support DirectX 12 in hardware you may have low performance or even see some errors while loading some tests.
Yes, I once tried the DirectX 11 version of 3D mark in an old ATI card that hardly supported DirectX 10 and in some tests I got an error message that some DirectX 11 function call failed. I then uninstalled it and installed an older version such as 3D Mark 2006 and it had no problems. For a moment I feared that the card's old Vista driver (WDDM 1.0) was not fully compatible with Windows 10 (no Windows 7 or higher driver available), but thankfully this wasn't the case.
there's this one, the Unreal 4 Elemental Demo

- it's not actually a benchmark, but it sure looks nice :)
