Ok i'm going to help you out because i was talking about cheap AMD cards but clearly you want the 30 series so i am really going to show you how to get one hopefully
#1st You can get in line with EVGA notification service but keep in mind select all the most expensive models in every series 60-70-80-90 of course you probably don't want a 3090 but by doing that it will speed you up into a card
#2 Is called the Newegg Shuffle where you sign up and like a raffle to buy those are the best options plus i can throw a GPU in stock tracker to boot
Wow i can't believe i just found this but i am going to throw it out there anyway @pparks1
Hope you got my message
TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 Graphics Card | PC | GameStop
Crazy it's sold out but had an option to buy on my phone
Thanks. I have an evga 3080 ftw already for myself. Wife doesnt need a 3080, a 2060/2070/3060ti would be just fine.
Well, I did have to resort to buying from a scalper that was able to stand in line everyday at Microcenter to get it. He had the 3080 and had the Ryzen 5900x that I wanted. He accepted $200 over retail on the combo, so I paid about $100 extra for each component. He also wanted the Rog Strix 3080...and had purchased the EVGA 3080 FTW and figured he could sell it and pay a bit of his way to the 3080 ROG that he wanted. I personally love my EVGA cards, so that is the one I wanted.
I didn't want to go this route, but I also didn't want to spend weeks and months of my life trying to hunt down the hardware. So, I just paid a little extra, built the box and have been enjoying it since Christmas day.
Guy's if you're by a Microcenter check it out they have GPU's in stock
My store has 3060ti Tuff and a 3080Tuff all at MSRP i would get the 3080 but i am already invested looking for a 3070 though to tie off my kids Rig with the 3700x
My microcenter shows this today (just on this one card)
But I've made the 45 minute trip before when this happened on my 3080 that I wanted and there were about 10 people milling around the GPU section asking about the 3080 that showed as available on the website and the staff just said, "unless you are at the store, in the line, in the morning, we aren't going to have any cards". Sometimes our system updates slow and we show a return or a card on the website, but for the high demand items (like Ryzen CPU's, and the newest AMD/Nvidia GPU's), we aren't going to have any"
Each person basically said, "yeah, that's what I expected but I figured it was worth the drive to at least try, maybe I was going to be the lucky one".
This stock issue is the pits for everybody who is wanting to get cards.
