ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming mobo - How do I set core voltage?

This may be a stupid question, but I can't figure out how to set the core voltage on my ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming motherboard. The core voltage is about 1.5V which I feel is waaayyy too high, and it's causing the processor to run really hot when gaming. And idling too.

I can't find any info online, and the manual is zero help. I have a Ryzen 2700X. Should I just be using Ryzen master to do this, or can it be changed in the BIOS? If so, I'm stumped with the BIOS.

    Any help gratefully received.

Get CPU-Z and watch the core voltage. This is what ASUS recommends.

The Ryzen processors all behave like this. All the settings can be changed in the BIOS.

People have been discussing this issue with Ryzen, since they came out.

Just Google: Ryzen core voltage ...and you'll see what I mean.

    Thanks Dude.

However, that looks nothing like my BIOS, except that mine is also red and black. Perhaps I'm missing an update?

I don't know how or why, but I was finally able to activate the manual setting and then somehow I got the voltage set properly. The BIOS didn't seem to want to activate the manual setting, and it was very difficult to set the core voltage as the menu option kept jumping back to Auto. Might be a BIOS issue, I don't know.

In any case, thanks guys. I appreciate the help.
