    Crackling sound coming from inside pc


    Sometimes I can hear a crackling sound in my PC. It's hard to tell where its coming from. It sounds JUST like a HDD going bad but I only have my new M.2 stick in there. I also changed power supplies and still hearing it but a little less. -Any help would be great

    Check all fans to see if a cord or something is touching them

    all fans are good, Dude. I haven't been hearing it now for the last 5 minutes or so.

    Weird... My new power supply that was making the noise died on me. My old Corsair PSU is running great with my rig now. No more noise!

    Lol, Dude! found out that it was just two cheap ass fans that came with my case making the crackling noise.
