I played for about 10minutes, will upload the clip. Didn't crash, lol. I think the FPS may have went down, will have to look with it off again.

Gamers Nexus has just recently uploaded a video discussing this, looking at the effects on both CPU and GPU, the upshot was that it made little to no difference in most games tested, some games absolutely tanked using it, but those are games with scheduling bugs anyway, RDR2 was mentioned here, with a couple of others.
They do reiterate Microsoft's official standing which is users should see little to no difference with it on, it is one of the first steps on a road to improved system wide performance enhancements. Nvidia and AMD seem to be claiming improvements that currently do not exist although not making that clear.

From that video this seems to be equivalent of setting low latency mode for Nvidia cards.

I think the whole idea is to reduce latency for all hardware by loosening the reins so to speak and allowing dedicated hardware to manage itself, at the moment Windows controls every aspect of how hardware can operate and as a result the load on the CPU is greater than it should be. The GPU scheduling is the first step, more to follow. At least that is how I interpret what information is available so far.

I opened it up but didn't want windows messing with settings already in place

I mean if it's IGPU /APU i think it would be cool so you can balance it out but with our cards it would probably botch performance

There is no reason for windows to even bother you can set it yourself it's been available for at least a good part of this year lol

The fact that is it now coming up because of windows is crazy nobody even bothered to mention the Control panel by Nvidia
