New 10900K Build plan and Progress thread
-
I've not found any case to be perfect but I manage to work with what I have. See both builds in my system specs. And my thoughts on cable management
here
As a side note my dream case is the
Corsair 1000D. I could do a lot with that case build wise. Unfortunately at this point in time I don't have the space for it.
Nice job. I think I did fairly well with my AMD build considering the RGB controller and AIO. It could be more tidy with more wraps but I finished this build a few weeks ago, and I like to keep it a little easy to work around before I do a final cable manage, just in case I want to tweak a few things I don't have to cut down 50 zip ties.
Anyhow, challenge accepted for the 10900k build, will post pics of the back.

Hi,
Yeah I have a different policy
Out of sight out of mind

My policy is as long as you do not have to lean on the back panel to be able to screw it back lol. the corsair has a Window on the back side.. tinted, but still a Window!! O__o

Hi,
Yeah I'm not all that much of even one plexiglass panel
Seems it adds static electricity where it's not a good thing to be around.
-
It's tempered glass though. I don't like acrylic either they scratch too easy.

Yeah, my case has tempered glass panels on the top and both sides. The front panel can also be replaced with a glass front (included with the case). Unfortunately I don't get to see all that goodness since my PC sits in a cubby hole...

I don't even get to see the pretty lights inside (except for the rear LED panel and RGB fan)

Nice! Are these Audioengine speakers? And this is a beast of a plotter (or whatever it is but it looks nice haha)

Yes, those are the A5+. You can also see the Audioengine S8 Subwoofer under the monitor. They are driven by my Teac DAC (below the left speaker).

Not sure what that means? But the Epson Printer (Pro 3880) to the right is used to print my work as seen framed photos. It can print up to 17 x 22 inch prints.

Yeah, i've never really been into the windows either. My son currently has a Coolermaster H500 case, which has 1 tempered panel. I guess I'm okay with 1 panel, but I don't want the back panel to be see-thru. I love good cable management, but I also like to tinker, so I need the ability to take parts out and put parts in. When you zip tie everything, or velcro it, or hide it perfectly, it's often very difficult to work with in the future.
Really enjoying things like the new NVMe drives as they don't require any data or power cables. And I always use fully modular power supplies so that I don't have to hide that crap either.

Me thinks everyone likes what they like even if others disapprove. That's what makes us "individuals"

That's called bad planning. My cable management also accounts for the situation I may have to remove something. And the fact that my power supply is fully modular was also planned in case I need to swap it. And I've completely changed motherboards in a case without having to totally redo the cabling. Again....planning
If you're not into cable management that's fine, but those who are know what they're doing
