I would hardly call B-die recommendation extreme as AMD is more sensitive to RAM. Simply stated its better to have B-Die

I'm not planning on overclocking, nor I've ever overclocked any part of my PC in my life.
No it doesnt, Ryzen is sensitive to RAM, B-Die has tighter timings. It helps even if not OCing the Ram. That's my point
So are you insinuating Ryzen system need B-Die RAM to function properly? Cause I find that a far stretch in your justification for recommendation. Also if that's the case, the QVL list must be extremely limited.
Anyway I have no qualm with you, we're cool, I just don't and can't agree with your recommendation.
Peace
No I dont mean it's needed. OP asked for recommendation and is building an AMD system. I'm disagreeing with you but just think that it's important for AMD. Your point on OCing is spot on, and yes QVL list have been notoriously limited.
RAM prices fluctuate, but B-DIE can still be found within budget most times.
Again we agree to disagree
Ok....so the 3 of us going to go get a beer together..........now we have a peace between usl.
Sorry guys, I couldn't resist. In all seriousness....it's impressive to see two different opinions collide and still be civil towards each other. Well done!
