    New Build First use suggestions?

Should be getting my new build from local PC shop Monday or Tuesday, what are the first things i should do? a New Clean Install on the SSD Drive? reconfigure everything to my liking, or should i test for stablity first, Gigabyte B460M motherboard, and Intel 10700 Processor.

Only thing will still have to order or install if not present when get it, is the wifi card, as old wifi adapter don't think transferrable to newer tower, as was built into old motherboard

In order to do any of that you'll need to install the OS, then install/update drivers. Then test for stability if you need to. The personalize it to you liking.

Yeah will work on that when get system home here, tomorrow gonna probably relax for first time this week, and maybe clean room up, before arrival on Monday or Tuesday lol. Then hopefully get it all sorted, might purchase a wifi card there if it has no wifi, that should be simple to install lol

Look at the specs of what you bought, it should tell you if you get wifi

Used to Be using AMD based systems up til 2017, When online friends convinced me to purchase my first Intel system since 2003.

The New board i don't know much in way of model exactly or specs, as original plan was just to transfer my old Intel I7 7700 motherboard, and components to newer case for better cooling of CPU, motherboard, video card than my old Asus G11CD-K desktop could cool it.

All i know on new hardware is it's Gigabyte B460M/Intel I7 10700 Combo for $509, then transferred rest of the hardware to newer case that was compatible with it, that is why i don't know if has Wifi or not, guess if doesn't, i'll wait til my next check for July, and purchase a wifi card then, and install it, and meanwhile use my phones hotspot data possibly while waiting i suppose

**Someday i may purchase another AMD based system, when i got more money to do that, and when i feel it's right time for me to switch platforms again, i felt going this route is good for moment, as just got the newer nvidia card 1660 super, if and when i have more money in future for AMD motherboard, processor, and Radeon video card, then i may switch platforms again**

There are also USB WiFi adapters, usually cheaper but just as good.

How far is your router ? For 10-20 feet nothing special is required. https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-wirel...9R44Q4TTPC33RR
