need a CPU AIO

I'm in the market for a single rad 120 mm RGB AIO cpu cooler. I've never used one and want your guys/gals opinion on your personal experiences and preferred brands.

Right now I have a low profile down flo air cooled cooler, DarkFlash Shawdow for my i7 4790k CPU. She's a bit warm....about 10 degrees warmer then my Evo 212.

All suggestions greatly appreciated.

Haven't used a single 120mm version.

My coolers are Corsair dual fan types. No leaks, pump failures, or fan failures so far. I can't comment on the ease of mounting on an Intel system, because both of my desktops are currently AMD (socket AM4).

I may have to consider a dual fan AIO....but my case is a mid tower, my first mid tower ever and I'm just not sure of the clearance from my GPU to where the RAD will be.Here's my case.

The case does support the H100i, the clearance is going to be a factor. Looking at my case right now....there's maybe 2 inches of clearance. that's from fans to GPU.

Well 2 inches is a fair amount of room, if your measurements are accurate.
How about routing the tubes? The bends might be tight and you don't want that.

After some searching of the specs for GPU and the H100i.....I think I'll have about 3/4 of an inch to spare. The rad is 25mm and the fans are 27mm which is roughly 2.1 inches....with the space I have should give me the clearance I need. You have me sold....I shall order it as soon as I can. Thanks bruh!

I'm a bit confused.

The normal place to mount a long radiator and fans is in the top of the case, running front to back. No interference with the GPU there. Such a setup appears on the Corsair web site that you link to.

It's where I have the radiator in both of my systems. The primary PC uses a Corsair 750d (full tower, which I don't need). The secondary PC uses a Phanteks ENTHOO Pro M mid tower case, which is a bit unusual in that the raditor mounts to a slide-out tray. Both systems include an optical drive, which the iCUE 220T does not support.

Most 120 version are mounted in the traditional rear case fan slot

Yes....I would agree...but with my case...see specs, It's a mid tower. I have 2 Corsair SP 120mm fans already and they are nearly touching my mobo as it is. Adding the RAD there, it will impede/hit my VRAM. So my only option would be to put the 240mm dual fan RAD at the front panel.

I do realize that your discussing water cooling solutions but I have always been partial to air cooling. I believe that there is a reasonable point of failure to water as opposed to air. Just my two cents. My cooling solution in the pic with a push pull fan configuration. At full load the CPU runs around 38c and at normal load in the mid 20's c
