One thing I should have mentioned is it only happens when playing the new deadspace. I rolled the driver back to Oct one and it is good now. What a pain. I used the amd clean up tool. Will just wait until I finish the game to upgrade driver again.

Glad you've found a solution. It is a common issue with Adrenalin drivers. Hope I don't strike it with my new 7900 XTX when it arrives Tuesday.

BTW there is going be some new 6000 series drivers released by AMD either this coming week or the next.

Congrats on the new GPU. It does seem to be a common thing, just a real pita. Which Brand GPU are you getting?

    NM, read your specs

I meant to update here. It wasn't driver, it was user error. When I did cable management on my hoses and cables, I did not reseat the PCIe cables securely it turned out. Did that Tuesday and no error since on latest driver.

Flashed just and hour or so ago. It erased all my saved settings so now I'm optimizing and testing all over again, Forgot to save them to USB (again). Don't know what exact changes new AGRSA brings so have to experiment more. Don't see any obvious change to rest of BIOS. I'm now within few percent of previous performance.

I may try it soon. I always start off fresh with a new BIOS. This one is probably just security updates

There's now AGESA code. don't know about it anything but those security update usually mean lowering performance. Hope not as I have 5000 series Ryzen.
