Lol. I have seen just as many Intel based laptops overheating and/or dying. It has little to do with them being AMD or Intel but just particular maker and model. As of last few years (5-6) AMD has made concentrated efforts to lower power consumption and heat with it.

I am daily driving a Ryzen 7 5850U HP Elitebook for work and its been great.

It is packaged well but yes, expensive

Any of you guys get this before. Windows replaced my graphics driver. Did it about four days ago. I reinstalled my drivers. Then it did it the next day. I disabled it I thought in device manager. Nope, happened again today. Disabled it with Group Policy now and hope it holds.

Dang windows did it again and replaced my driver. I followed all three ways of disabling shown in this article

AMD Graphics Drivers Automatically Removed By Windows Update (How To Fix) '-' Tech Overwrite

I disabled updates for now until I figure out how to stop it for good. Any idea what I need to do?
