Just running tests, L3 cache performance better by just a little.

@CountMike Still no update for me, but was looking at our cpuz shots we do have pcie4 it seems

That would be really interesting to see what happens. There were few BIOS versions a while ago, don't remember exactly which MBs on which it was actually enabled but were taken down soon after. Gen3 Ryzen are surely capable of PCIe v4 but AMD was unable to force MB manufacturers to enable it. Excuse is that it wouldn't work good. Apparently PCIe bus on 400 series MBs can't hit desired frequency.

I flashed the BIOS on my ASUS Pro WS X570-ACE a few days ago to the latest version... 3302.



Seems ASUS has fixed the tendency, of the 3700X on this chipset... to jump around in a 10°C range.

Temp monitoring: AIDA64 Extreme.

My new 2nd PC systems hard drive benchmarks as the B450 Aorus Elite Motherboard is PCi 3.0 & the m.2 is a PCi 4.0 so is these results what the max speed is of a PCi 3.0 board is ?

My Sequential (SEQ1MQBT1) results is what I would call my dream m.2 I want with matching read / writes - maybe I will wait for a PCi 5.0 m.2 for my PCi 4.0 system as well ?
