That cover is also heat sink.
I'll have to look at my board again. I thought that the chipset shroud cover was made of plastic. What I disliked it was to add an SSD, I had to
1). Remove video card to gain access to chipset shroud
2). Remove chipset shroud (2 screws) to gain access to 1 of the 2 screws on the NVMe cover
3). Remove the two screws holding down the NVMe cover.

I know the covers over the NVMe's are heatsinks....and that's a good idea.

Yeah, top one is usually right under GPU, difficult to reach specially with thick GPUs also fastened with microscopic screws. Luckily those are not changed a lot and often. Mine is sitting there for about 2 years.
There's also heat transfer pad between SSD and cover but it had paper backing which must be removed or it becomes insulator.

Both NVMe's are heatsinks , the cover that ties them together is just plastic shroud .

    Hi,

For information, available here for more than 2 months : [DRIVERS] AMD Chipset/SATA (3xx/4xx/5xx/TRX40) - Page 3
Tnx. Only today I found it on Asus site for my MB, older one was way behind AMD. Installed it and all's fine.

CTR 2.0 is out ClockTuner for Ryzen (CTR) v2.0 RC3 Download
Just gave it few tries, as far as can see it's good only for undervolting. Gave me some crazy settings, CCX1 4100 and CCX2 4075 at 1.225v. Temps about 45c.
I can do much better at that voltage. 4200 on both CCXs although with temps about 65c
I tried to start with those settings but program wouldn't apply them even after lengthy testing.
Ryzen Master also does better at auto OC.
