Grabbed a few pictures today. I'm planning on getting some 24 pin PCIe sleeved cables for the video card to clean up the cabling a bit.

My real RAM and M2 will be here later this coming week. Gotta take it half apart to install them both.

Not enough clearance on the dark rock pro 4 cooler to get the ram in. Only have to remove the outer fan though.

And to install the m2, I have to yank the video card, and remove the cover on the mobo to get to the m2 slots.

No Kidding on the M.2 Tiny Screw, just did my first one on my Intel Build, and omg that screw was very tiny, but i managed to get it in, guess helped had magnetic small screwdriver to do the install.

Someday wouldn't mind a modern AMD build though, but no idea when that will be lol

This strix board is even more of a pain than any other board I have worked with.

In the attached picture, you can see the heatsinks for the 2 x M2 drives, but notice that you can only see a single screw, on the left hand side of each. The second screw is still present but it's actually under that shroud covering the X570 chipset. So, you also have to remove the 2 screws on the shroud to remove that, then the 2 screws to remove the heatsink on the M2 slot. And of course, to get to either, you have to remove your video card.

I've got a ROG Strix X470 with a similar M2 mounting scheme. I feel your pain.
