Yeah, I highly doubt the new cards will be $1500 expensive. Maybe some card with a HUGE amount of VRAM might cost that much. I expect the top of the line card to be around $750-850 with 16-24GB of VRAM and 72-80 CUs.

But I guess we have to wait and see.

Next Gen will most likely need a new MB i have a couple options up my sleeve

New Monitor with higher refresh rate then 100hrz of course Ultra wide maybe 49 inch Samsung or LG
I know i can get lots more out of my ROG Swift but some functions weren't out yet when i got this monitor like HDR for instance

Honestly though my Monitor is still does a damn good job still 4 years later even i am shocked i have had it this long myself i got it right after my dual 1080's

I have had this monitor so long ,I for sure remember now the time i got it was after fallout 4 came out

I tried a Asus IPS that was a good monitor for $500.00 but lacked Gsync and was tearing like crazy that's when i got the 27 inch ROG Swift 144hrz then went to ultrawide like a few months later

I wish my wallet was as impressive as the new CPUs. I'd go for the R9-5950x in a heartbeat. I'd probably wait for Big Navi though. AMD sure didn't disappoint and hoping they won't with the upcoming GPUs either.
