So Amazon.uk are showing prices for the XT range at same price as X range were before they dropped £100 & release date is 7th of July 2020 worldwide I think. !
That was expected, CPUs are same, X and XT. I was expecting that 3800XT for instance would be named 3820x or 3850x like they did with FX series.
XT is just higher binned X or even non-X, It's also visible that latest batches of Ryzen are better than first one as they perfected chip production quality.
Thinking by the time i do my next big upgrade I may wanna try an AMD based system again, swapped back to Intel September 2017, but who knows i may just decide to stay Intel based by 2022 when i'm planning my next major upgrade for gaming PC desktop.
Last AMD System was AMD FX 8310, and Radeon R7 240 video card, wasn't that great of experience, but maybe next one will be better i'm thinking
I was surprised when I switched from my FX 6350 OC-ed to 4.9GHz to bone stock first Ryzen 1600x, performance was at least 4 times better. Crossed to 1700x, 2700x and now to 3700x can't even compare to FX 6350 any more. Just unzipping a large archive is worth it. Things like rendering a large 3D drawing or film that would take whole night operation now takes enough time to brew and drink a coffee, Could just imagine what next generation of Ryzen would bring with 18-24-36 cores and double the speed. Yeah, I know, somebody is going to make some SW and games to tax even system like that but it will take some time for sure.
You guys are really making me crave 3000 series. Haven't needed more than the 1700X to this day. But these better benchmarks are slick.
So i know i shouldn't be messing with load line with these horrible temps
I re-pasted and changed fans and yet it started out good back to square one so anyway 1.24v with level 1 on now i got to this without
LLC
limit was 1.25 v on so now i am going to see if level 1 and dropping voltage to around 1.22v will help doesn't seem to like going lower than 1.25 though
