You should boost higher with a lower cpu speed what is it set at ?

you got the 200 Mhz boost which looks pretty good but remember most AMD chips shut down at 90c if i recall so getting kinda close there Bud
Thats manual OC all core Tommy, not using boost

Exactly what i was saying about manual but try it the other way lock your cores in lower and see what boost you get also if possible take the side panel off apparently the air flow can be restrictive

Since i am not up and running i am going to ask you to be the Crash Test Dummy real quick lol just don't burn it up my replacement money went on that 3950x hahaha

I ran with PBO and clocks were auto (38) that gives me a boost to 4550 on the first deck

I may be wrong but when you set your cores manually it disables Boost

Just what i figured now PBO is working because of the Microcode and the boost is close to advertised and on top the temps are decent
PBO's function is to raise the clock only not the temps so my theory is sorta playing itself out now with that AGESA you just installed

Asking because AGESA code is released by AMD and it's responsible for temperature to frequency ratio. AGESA 1004abb that my BIOS has now gives core temperature too much importance and drops frequency and performance when temps cross 62c, at 71c it already drops by 100MHz from top boost frequency. 1003 wasn't that much sensitive but RAM handling wasn't great.
