    Renaming the BIOS file is the regular way ASUS has done it for quite a while, not just BETA BIOS

    I have yet to do that with this Board,I know i been using Asrock for like the last 6 years but Asus is the same as it always been and this is news to me i have to rename a bios file especially a Beta all others don't require this maybe your particular chipset but not the X570

    Is it possible you two guys are talking about different things? I'm pretty sure you don't have to rename the bios if you update it from within BIOS. If you use the BIOS Flashback Tool, you do need to rename it. That's how it has always been I'm pretty sure.

    An example of Asus BIOS
    PRIME-X470-PRO-ASUS-5406.zip > PRIME-X470-PRO-ASUS-5406.CAP (Unarchived) > Px470p.cap renamed using BRenamerl.exe. Both, long and short work fine.
    Or you can use "amiflash" on CD or USB to make it bootable with AFUDOS.exe which is only way to go back to earlier BIOS if AGESA code version was changed as BIOS itself wouldn't allow it.

I want to initiate a serious talk about updating drivers on Windows 10. Some of you use tools for updating, some of you don't recommend tools. Some of you recommend the WU version of the drivers, some of you recommend the OEM drivers and some of you...
As part of the creators update, you can create "folders" on the start menu now by dropping one application on top of another application. I do like the concept, but I sure wish that I could fire up the particular application by clicking directly...
