    PC Doesn't turn on anymore

I installed these cable adaptors with some light strips that I attached to them. And when I pushed on the power button I heard a spark and a pop in my PC. Now when I push the power button nothing happens. I have a LED light on my motherboard saying that its getting power when I turn on the PSU. So I'm kind of confused on what part (parts) I will have to replace to get it up and running again. - Thanks for any help!

Hi well my first thought would be the power supply. probably will want to bench test your system and check for any traces of burn marks on the motherboard.

    Hi,
So you connected this end into your power supply ?
If so you did that in reverse of how it's designed to be used

    Hi,
That is the output end not the input
Not sure why it wouldn't work in reverse though :/
Not sure why it wouldn't power some strip lighting either in reverse.

So, do you think its my PSU that I need to replace or the motherboard?

I personally think I would replace power supply first

Be sure to try it without the light strips first.
