10 years in the making...

Now let me Start off by off by stating that this build didn't take ten years that would be ludicrous. It took me ten years to finally put together another build, 10 years from my first build. i'm here to share my journey with you guys from the Good, the bad, & the ugly. I've been waiting to do this for some time now and i hope you guys like the outcome.

This is my first build in 10 years. sorry if i seem a bit rusty at these things. My FIRST build i started Overclocking a Phenom X4 955 BE back in 2010 and i pushed it pretty much to it's limits at 4.1GHz. and up until about 2015 or so and did damn good. I've had a decent 2 in 1 Lenovo laptop with a i7-6600u and a GTX 960m i got from my buddy for a pretty solid deal of $20. that latest 4 years but one day i came home from a long day of work and as soon as i opened the lid and my screen shattered into a million pieces from a damaged hinge that snapped from too many times opening and closing. was a sad moment and even then i loved it i strapped it to the bottom of my desk in a half-top kind of way(Pictured below).
Now it was TIME! Time for something great and something i desperately needed as a Freelance Web/Graphic designer something powerful and reasonable. So i took plenty of hours researching for some good-respectable parts I've been eyeing and numerous times adding and saving for later in a cart somewhere on the web; Ha-ha. I finally bit the bullet and for a moment i felt Happiness but also anxiousness waiting for the multiple packages from Amazon, Newegg & Bestbuy. The day has arrived!, Well a number of days has arrived, but you get the point. The packages are here and excitement has greatly seeped and settled in my gut. and it's finally here! that moment I've been waiting for; for so long. I'm am sitting here at my dining room table with the boxed components, just waiting to be opened. Where do i start? Come on!, i know. i'm a freaking computer technician believe it or not (I work mostly with out-dated system from universities). And it's not that i didn't know where to start. i was stumped, overjoyed for what was about to go down for the next couple of hours!
I did it, rather quickly due to my experience with building systems throughout the years. some could say anticlimactic. But not me. I was trilled. Nothing greater then the rush of a first startup boot! Does it post?, Yes! oh man it's awesome. Checking out the bios, checking it twice. gonna make sure all the drives are right or not. (Yes it's currently Christmas to me right now). Okay 1TB NVMe, Check. 256GB NVMe, Check! Installation time. We all know how that goes, Piece of cake, No Problemo, Drives are reading, Nice. Let me say installing Windows on a NVMe drive is insanely fast. I've seen GTAV loading screens take longer than this install. It's on like Donkey Kong from now on out. Well that's what i thought at first.. Then i woke up, was it ALL a dream!? No! it wasn't i must of fallen a sleep late last night and passed out under the dining room table. Woo, what a relief. You ever get those dreams where something is too good to be true and that's pretty much the case. Well that's how it felt looking up at my finished creation. and now i present to you "The Cure".
