    Hi,
    There yeah go
Both should have the same timings then 16-18-18-36
Just match the 16gb sticks as if they were the only sticks installed
Then put the other 8gb sticks in the remaining empty slots
    See how it goes.

Different brands and sizes of RAM sticks work perfectly on my low-end PC.
They have the same timings: 9-9-9-24.

    Hi,
Depends what you're doing with the memory
Just letting the board use it's bare minimum compatibility timings/... one shouldn't have many issues

If using xmp profile one might run into some snags mixing sticks.

Two RAM modules of different timings caused these crashes: Is it a hardware problem which has nothing to do with Windows?

Typically, you'd want to use same RAM densities but they should work - The biggest issue is configuring to get all 48gig. On a 4-DIMM board do you go - 8-16-8-16 (or is it 16-8-16-8) or do you side by side - 8-8-16-16 (or is is 16-16-8-8)?

BTW you might also look to your owners manual for any special notes on RAM configuration.

    Good luck.
