I updated my BIOS today as it had some performance improvements and it does seem snappier. I got a message when I re-enabled XMP saying that I should set FCLCK to 1:1 for best performance. I searched around and the consensus appears to suggest setting 1800mhz. Programs do seem to open quicker. I shall run some benchmarks later.
To have 1:1 you'd need FCLK to be 1200 for your 3200MHz RAM but yes I heard that lower RAM speeds could benefit of higher FCLK. It didn't seem to make any difference when I tried it, at lest benchmarks didn't show any.I updated my BIOS today as it had some performance improvements and it does seem snappier. Ok ran Timespy, score was 10393 on this mobo. The highest score I had on the old Aorus Master x570 was 10678 so not sure whats going on there.
Everything seems ok atm. I did try also to lower tRC to 54 but the game crashed so upped it to 65.
