For comparisons, my AMD Radeon VII has a recommended 750 watt PS and has 300 Watt draw.

And yes, I do have a 1000 Watt EVGA P2 (Platinum) power supply.
I was looking into that Radeon VII you have it's a solid card 16GB of HBM2
would think it would be killing everything but does get up there so i was right around 700 or more

I doubt that card even draws that much but still DAMN that's a lot of juice !

Come to think of it your card was made for Resident Evil 2 remake no wonder the VRAM need is so high no card except a Titan has that much ram to do so 12 to 16Gb Your card can play that game fully maxed out VRAM that is a big WOW !

The funny thing about Resident Evil 2 is that's one of the 3 free games I got when I purchased the card. The other two were Division 2, and Devil May Cry 5.

Played RE2 twice; currently playing The Division 2; couldn't get into the DMC5 game mechanics. Anyway I don't have a game the card can't handle. As I said somewhere else, it benches like crap but handles gaming beautifully. Supper impressed with the way Division 2 looks on this card. And yeah... 16gig of goodness in VRAM

And yeah all games were maxed out on settings.

You're living the Dream that's all i want is a Card with enough VRAM to max the crap out of everything this literally brings a tear to my eye Beautiful can't describe what you might be feeling in game play

For me there was no reason to upgrade to a 2080ti and even when i used a 2080 Super it just sucked 8GB of VRAM Booo

I was close to full on the 1080ti Hardware Thread 2020-re2.jpg

Well the 16gig of RAM was the big sell for me, even though I've never owned an NVidia GPU. My days go back to 3dfx and when NVidia bough them put I went the ATI/AMD route and have been there since.

The funny thing is when I built this rig I was going to get a 2080TI for bench purposes but in the end decided to stick with AMD.

Anyway, yeah, RE2 looked great all maxed out, but to be honest I thought RE2 was ridiculously too short. I also got tired of Mr. X so my next couple of playthroughs was with the INFINITE AMMO WEAPONS.

The game rated me a "C" at the end, but heck it sure was a breeze to get through it

    Oh, btw I'm still on 1440p (24 inch @ 1920 x 1200) since I don't have a 4K monitor (yet).

I'm working on 2 but took a Break i beat 3 Nemesis because that was the one Resident Evil i never beat when i had it back in the day
I went through it smooth as butter started playing two but seen the need for speed and started working on that but it is crash problematic EA needs to stop dropping games with issues it's like come on do we really need this mess

Current news I read is the Nvidia 12 pin will probably be for OEM applications. 3rd party cards will likely still be 2x8 pin.
