    New 2020 Hardware--Desktop

    New 2020 Hardware

    ThermalTake V200 RGB Case
Evga G3 650 watt power supply
    Intel I7 10700
    Gigabyte B460M-DS3H Motherboard
    Geforce GTX 1660 Super
1 SATA SSD Samsung 860 Evo
1 Western Digital 1TB hard drive
Asus wifi card PCie 56BT (I think is model) WIreless AC 2100

Swapped out the red wifi card that was wireless AX, as Pc seemed to be getting really hot while that was in, not sure why, that card did have a big red heatsink on it though

Previous system: Intel I7 7700, Asus 1110M Motherboard, Arctic Freezer 7 Pro, Samsung 860 Evo SSD boot drive, 1 Western Digital 1tb storage, and older OEM Case

**One MInor issue with new build having is 1 front usb 2.0 port doesn't seem to work that well, when other devices plugged into front or rear usb 3.0 ports, and other usb 2.0 port up front. Says not enough memory to complete task, remove item from second front port, and everything works again**

Yes eventually getting M.2 drive to go under CPU cooler, and above video card as future boot drive

Overall though i'm happy, minor little heat issues, but expected with new build, and newer processor, and getting used to it still, but performance is excellent in my eyes versus old system

    Hi,
Only three year warranty on those pre-order ssd's

MC raised the price of the 10900k to 600.us they were 529.99.
10900x is still stupid at that price 10900k kills it.

The QVO series is Samsung's budget drives vs. the performance EVO and Pro drives. And why the QVO 3 has a 3 year warranty vs. the PRO and EVO 5 years warranty.

Personally I'd go at least with at least the EVO line, though I've got both PRO and EVO drives. The Pro's are my NVMe drives for my OS and photo drive. The other drives are SATA EVO.
