With that many fans, I'm sure you have to keep them toned down
I'm a "fan" of Corsair's ML (Magnetic Levitation) fans cause the they tend to push a lot of air while staying quiet. Don't get it twisted though, they can get loud when maxed so you have to find that balance.
I also prefer 140's over 120's - more air less RPM = less noise (in theory)![]()
You can put them on a fan curve that sticks to a set setting or have them ramp up when they really do need to ramp up.
Gigabyte boards use a "smart fan" system where each fan header can be separately controlled and assigned to different areas for temp control. Currently I don't have any of my 3 case fans assigned to the CPU as this insures they don't constantly ramp up and down as the temp changes. Here's a YouTube video on it.
And yeah, I pretty much keep mine at about 40% as well![]()
Welp don't need to make a personal Thread about what i am going to say.......
Nvidia is truly insane for bringing out a supposedly High Tier card with only 8GB of VRAM for games
It was troubling to see i started up Resident Evil 3 Nemesis and i had a Vram error ha the games settings i had it on from the 1080Ti was too much for this GPU
I didn't want to purchase a 2080ti knowing that the 3080 is around the corner well now this is a big let down especially with the Ram being too little for my experience
I will be taking it back tomorrow for a full refund makes no sense my 1080ti just proved the RTX series is junk 2080 Super that is unless i get a 2080Ti
I play on a 3440x1440 Ultrawide lol it can't cut full maxed out settings what a shame !
