I've been looking into getting a DAC, but will probably be going the portable route. Been looking at the DragonFly Red and the DragonFly Cobalt. My primary headphones at the office are Grado SR125's, and my home headphones are currently Audio Technica ATH-M50's.

I am thinking about moving to the Audio Technica ATH-E70 IEM's.

I came close to getting the DragonFly Red for my laptop but decided to hold off. Now that I'm using my Bose NC 700 phones with the laptop, I don't need the DAC. Hadn't seen the Cobalt before.

BTW I also have both the ATH M50S and the ATH M50X headphones....

The phones at the far left with the cord hanging are the ATH M50S, and next to it is the ATH M50X.

Do you have AM4 mounting kit for it ? Mounting is quite different from Intel and older AMDs.

Funny you mention this i have brand new one in a Box from Corsair i ordered a couple years back for the B350

I should be able to use it with the TT same set up ,Truth be told i have a few AMD water block connections

I don't know if you remember but i was coming in here in early 2008 with Phenom then Bulldozer FX then moved on to a 3700k lol

Lol indeed, here, W10 in 2008 ? Maybe W7 forum but I was never there.
AM4 socket is for Ryzen only and is different than AM3+ needed for FX 8350. Holes are in wrong places. Good thing you have that mounting kit. Did you get it with that cooler ?

Lol you got me i meant Seven Forums hahaha
Also Tip for anyone confused on the mounting kit Corsair and Thermaltake are Universal fit just FYI
So if you have parts from either or Mounting wise you'll be ok
This will cut out some questions in case people are worried about my process
