If you watch this Video the Tuff is the best bang for your Buck and for the testing they did open air i am sure my Water Cooler will make it that much cooler

Look into the B550s going to be good. I wanted the Crosshair VIII or x570 Strix E but was out of stock. Almost went with the Tuf, but I got the itch for a ROG

I have no idea, honestly I 'm happy with the 3900X, if I upgrade will probably go X670 MB too

I doubt that b350 MBs will get necessary BIOS upgrades as AMD left it to MB manufacturers to decide.

X570 MBs will support 4000 Ryzen for sure, most b450/x470 are probably getting support, it's up to MB manufacturers to develop BIOS version, 300 chipset series very unlikely.
There are new Ryzen also coming as a refresh to top few CPUs and will have suffix XT and those are just improved old X suffix CPUs. 100-200MHz above old counterparts and improved IMC controllers. Those will be compatible with all present MBs.

Be careful with CCX OC, never let voltage on auto, somebody already burned processor.
