    Thanks.
    Hi,
If you want to use something a lot more stressing use blender opendata
When asked download all the render files it shows that will be the full cpu test
Quick test is only two render files but very good too
    Blender - Open Data

You can also just install blender and download some of the demo files BMW/ Classroom and pavilion Barcelona are all good to run one off with render image or loop with render animation
Opendata is easier to run though
Blender is more involved unblock/ extracting all on the demo files
Pointing blender to the files you saved..
blender.org - Home of the Blender project - Free and Open 3D Creation Software
    Demo Files — blender.org

    Hi,
That got things warmed up a bit
We'd have to ask @Dude how good that is but looks reasonable to me at 75c package temp.

Things do warm up benching, but gaming and other loads it will be much lower. What are your voltage settings? Leaving auto always puts to much. I run mine at about 1.25 after vdroop, set a little higher in BIOS

Thanks for the input, I've enabled XMP but otherwise not changed much of the settings. Voltage is currently .1392v.

Interesting info on why & how each CPU gets it's "guaranteed" RAM speed rating:

One of the difficulties of modern day processor reviews is testing memory - AMD and Intel support very different memory speeds, and so it begs the question as to what speed should we be testing at. Should we be testing the CPU at the same memory speed? Is this fair? Isn't this technically an overclock? Or should we be testing at the manufacturer rated speeds. Why is Intel's DDR4 ratings lower than AMD, anyway?

My opinion... if you're going to get a 3950X ($699), you might want to look at a better board; especially if you're going to to overclock. Not trying to be funny but I question a sub $200 board and the "Tuf" isn't high in the Asus hierarchy chain.

That said, nobody is telling me how to spend my money, so...
