Rig number two had silent Windows corruption (with 2004) and SFC unexpectedly reported "found corrupt files", IIRC.
Also, an unexpected DLL-related error when trying to use Unigine Heaven 4.0 on system number two!
Really? Is the RAM unstable? Even with no almost-asteroid-like "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA" or "BAD_POOL_HEADER" BSOD?
In fact, I had no BSOD, but I decided to run sfc /scannow after I saw that Windows logged a Windows Update failure for the Defender definitions, IIRC. But it didn't show up in history, IIRC. Does this mean back to 1909 for number two? Even with 1909, it's had a history of silent Windows corruption, thus going to reset the BIOS configuration!
I just got done reading your back & forth.
As much as I am an Intel fanboy, if an Ryzen system is set up right, and one makes use of all those available PCIe lanes(specially the ones to the CPU and not chipset) ,and if on an ROG board that comes with RAMCache II, you can get some killer throughput with very low latency. Many CPU threads + low RAM latency(Speed and Timings) + low PCIe latency(M.2 SSD to CPU not chipset) =For now I think it's fine remember I'm on a ryzen cpu my scores are lack of IPC at this point not so much cooling the FTW Ultra 3090 see's at best 61c gaming max settings resident evil 2 remake using 12Gb vram freaking visual quality dream its phenomenal
The new 5950x Will make the difference between your 10900k and my 3950x![]()
So you caught that little exchange ,It's rare someone of his stature would even converse like that especially on his channel
I'm going to hang out on his channel and see if we can get off the channel and into some DM's he probably could get that Bios but he wouldn't be able to share it ,I gave him some good info he probably didn't know
Why you think i went Ryzen the PCI-E lanes aren't sacrificed like Intel's boards are unless you go X299 and i have 2xNVME drives plugged in and still PCI-E 4.0 full bandwidth i know you saw that in GPUZ even though they take like x4 or something like that still running a couple of those eats those lanes up
