Best method when under clocking cpu to match frequency of ram or gpu

I've noticed that when i underclock my cpu to match the dram frequency my computer is a lot more responsive and my temps are lower.

I have also noticed that when i underclock my cpu to match the dram frequency there should be a decent gpu. My 6300 pro sff has an nvidia gt 620 gpu running windows 10 pro any time i click on a folder or a program i see it on the screen instantly but on my hp 15 f272wm with integrated gpu seems to try tobe faster but it has a hard time.

So im thinking i should have my cpu match the clock of the gpu and i should be good to go.

My question:

what clock should be used when matching the cpu clock to gpu or ram clocks?

The dram frequency on my desktop is 800 so using the the maximum frequency setting in power options i lower the mhz used to 800 also and im return so far i have a smoother experience and nvidias control panel doesnt tear when opened

Tearing comes from the Graphics not the CPU AND RAM speeds if that was the case you would be watching the swirl on the mouse pointer forever

When a CPU and RAM are miss behaving you almost would not be able to even operate apps it's your Graphics and due to the age of your system the GPU is the failure here

Your system can only do so much when you got a lower and older gpu upgrade to a better series GPU and you'll notice the experience will be drastically better

After seeing what card you are using that is the problem you are doing that CPU a real injustice with the 1gb GPU
get a least a 3 GB gpu and take some load off geesh they have Nvidia 7-9 series GPU's that should even you out and won't kill your wallet and you need to find one that will work with your power supply don't want to get something too powerful lol

Look at the lower mhz memory settings and the lower the frequency, the lower the timings. The motherboard automatically detects Dram timing settings to syncronise with the CPU. For me yes, the lower the better. Your chip is 1333, so DDR3 665x2 is almost the perfect match. The quicker the ram you buy its a good guarantee that it will have faster lower timings. Best to always go for the fastest ram you can afford with that theory.

Imagine the latency timings like two yogurt pots and a piece of string. Lower latency like a shorter string and the quicker the other person hears you talking into the pot.

Go back to my old PC3200 2x256mb. OCZ and the memory timings were at their very lowest. We'll never see that again.

Haha nice one Lance thats awesome showing the pictures of the old ram. I used to have loads of old sticks but eventually i decided to throw them all away. Broke my heart. Anyways im over that now.
I always remember managing to beat my friends AMD Athlon XP1800 in the old gaming benchmarks with my Pentium 4 Northwood 1.6ghz socket 478 when Dual Channel ram gave me the abiltity to overclock that old chip from 1.6 to almost 2.7ghz.
For me that chip was the best overclocking chip ever, be hard to beat that nowadays
