Well done Mike
Problem was voltage control. Now I went for negative offset and upped LLC to 5 so voltage stays under 1.417v and that reduces heat very much.
So, nominal voltage is set to 1.375 and goes from 0.95 on idle and 1.417 at 100%. I had bad voltage drop at 1.525v and it was shutting down or slowing down enough to kill the score.
MD says max voltage 1.45 and max temp 75c and I'm well within those parameters. Problem is also with FSB/BCLK that's supposed to be 100MHz but goes between 99.8 and 99.9 so total frequency gets some goofy numbers.
For me it's important to be rock stable.
There is an update today:
- Updated system information library with some changes;
Added temperature offsets for Ryzen ThreadRipper chipsets
Added support for obtaining CPU info for Skylake-X chipset
Fixed bug with measuring base/turbo speeds
Fixed a bug where temperature average was not calculated for systems with multiple CPUs
I like the release date Passmark gave it: Thirty-twost
V9.0 Build 1017 - 31st/August/2017
- Fixed a bug that was preventing baselines without a 3D score from being uploaded
- Updated system information library with some changes;
- Added correct naming of AMD RX 580 (vs RX 480)
- Added correct naming of AMD Vega 56 vs Vega 64
Another update:
V9.0 Build 1018 - 6th/September/2017
Fixed a bug that was preventing the available compute units for video cards being retrieved which meant not being able to correctly name some models (eg Vega56/64)
