    Added another 8GB of RAM and with a bit more of tuning:
    I know I can't catch up on account of GPU but take a gander at CPU score.

    Yes, I do, it runs in dual channel mode which made some difference. It looks like folks that say that dual channel and faster memory make a difference in newer systems are right. It never used to matter much before. DDR3 1333MHz to 1866MHz didn't make even 1% of overall improvement.
