I just kept the XMP profile as is and upped the speed too 3400 and upped the voltage to 1.5 volts. booted ok. If you have trouble booting then loosing the timings a little and retry and disable the fast boot option in the UEFI also.

I will try again Andrew, later. I didn't up my voltage .....duh....

If you OC the RAM higher than XMP it's good to set it to Mode 2(according to der8auer).

Mike, try playing with this. You may have to play with frequency and/or timings, or VCCIO and SA a little. Instead of XMP use manual. Look at my VMs from Doorules. You have the best overclocking ram I know of.

Another thing to think about when benchmarking RAM, you should raise your CPU cache ratios to 300MHz less than your CPU.
For example I have my CPU multiplier at 50, and my Max CPU cache at 47, Min Cache at 42.

I am at 50 also, both right now are at "Auto" .....writing this down too. :)
