    Liquid cooling

I'm thinking of adding a liquid cooler to my PC. This one:

The size isn't an issue and I do want to keep the rig as cool as possible. Are there any reasons not to get one?

    TIA

Nope...I also have a 120 - I'm just getting a ROG RGB for no real reason other than it looks cool.

There's a big split on the reviews......on newegg.com it's 50/50 and Amazon is showing a 60/40. A lot of complaints on mounting. I would continue to look around.

    Hi,
Stick with air cooling if that's the best you can fit or afford.
No air cooler has ever leaked or had a pump fail

Need better cooling get a better air cooler
    Be-quiet has some nice ones.

I see no reason why a single fan liquid cooler would be any better than air cooling. I would not bother moving to liquid cooling unless your were going to move up to at least a dual fan radiator.

While I agree with your logic, I'll be moving to a single fan AIO cooler in the future. Simply for the aesthetics of it. Especially if your into the bling of a PC with a case that will show it off.

Thanks for the advice. In the end I'll likely get an air cooling unit to boost my current PC's cooling performance. While I would love liquid I don't like the idea of it possibly leaking. Nope.. not one bit and being a single fan it's not a huge upgrade from an air unit.

    So.. thanks..

Here's the fan I'm getting, I had it picked out as an option if I didn't get a liquid one. It gets high ratings and it's in my price bracket.

It depends somewhat on what you do with your PC. Obviously playing AA games will demand a lot more out of the CPU. If y ou don't play games, then an AIR cooler is more than adequate.
