    Yeah, the 980 tis are bound up in Valley with the CPU. I'd bet your 980s are a tad too. Hell, my 970s were. I hit 5581 with 2 x 970s on Extreme HD preset. Which should translate to probably 5.8 to 5.9k score with these presets...probably higher.

    Trick is to disable all but 2 cores, kill hyperthreading and then overclock those remaining 2 cores as high as possible. It'll alleviate some of that.

    To be honest what i noticed is when you have a G-Sync Monitor you are forced to be stuck at a certain fps

    This is true with Catzilla and Skydiver is brought my score way down in order to score where i belong G-sync needs to be off
    Catzilla had me stuck at my refresh rate of 144Mhz which i find odd because my 85Mhz Viewsonic didn't restrict me but then again it isn't G-sync
